Arriving

Muni's 38 Geary and 22 Fillmore stop nearby and both run all night; the 38 connects to BART downtown.

The venue has no lot; the Japantown garages at 1610 Geary Boulevard and 1650 Fillmore Street are the nearest.

Tickets are on phones only, the show room is upstairs (lift on the west side), and bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches are searched.

Written from the venue’s own visitor pages; gates and policies change, so check thefillmore.com before you go.

Drive times are OSRM’s on empty roads, the same best-case figure as the map’s suburban lens; game nights run far slower. The taxi figure is the SFMTA taxi meter rate ($4.15 plus $3.25/mi, as of 2026-10) on that distance, the only published benchmark; rideshare prices aren’t published and surge after events. The meter’s $4.15 includes the first fifth of a mile, so these taxi figures run about $0.65 high; a taxi from SFO adds a $6.00 pick-up fee, and tolls and tip are extra. With Clipper or a contactless card, a second agency within two hours (BART to Muni, say) costs up to $2.85 less. A Muni day pass is $5.70.
