Arriving
Muni's T Third stops at UCSF/Chase Center (16th St); on event days the 78X 16th Street Arena Express runs from 16th St Mission BART from 2.5 hours before an event until an hour after.
A game or event ticket, paper or phone, counts as a Muni fare that day (not on cable cars); Caltrain's San Francisco station at 4th and King is a 15 to 20 minute walk, or one stop on the T Third.
Backpacks aren't allowed except single-compartment drawstring bags, and other bags must be smaller than 14 x 14 x 6 inches; the accessible entrance is the East Entrance.
Written from the venue’s own visitor pages; gates and policies change, so check chasecenter.com before you go.

Drive times are OSRM’s on empty roads, the same best-case figure as the map’s suburban lens; game nights run far slower. The taxi figure is the SFMTA taxi meter rate ($4.15 plus $3.25/mi, as of 2026-10) on that distance, the only published benchmark; rideshare prices aren’t published and surge after events. The meter’s $4.15 includes the first fifth of a mile, so these taxi figures run about $0.65 high; a taxi from SFO adds a $6.00 pick-up fee, and tolls and tip are extra. With Clipper or a contactless card, a second agency within two hours (BART to Muni, say) costs up to $2.85 less. A Muni day pass is $5.70.
