Arriving
On big event days NJ Transit runs Meadowlands Rail trains from Secaucus Junction to the stadium's own Meadowlands station, and riders show a valid train ticket at Secaucus to get a wristband.
Coach USA's 351 Meadowlands Express runs from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to Lot K.
The entrances are the AMEX, MetLife and Verizon gates; parking is paid, and only clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches (or a small clutch) are allowed, one per person.
Written from the venue’s own visitor pages; gates and policies change, so check metlifestadium.com before you go.
From across the region
By transit, from anywhere in the region: On event days, NJ Transit to Secaucus Junction (from Penn Station or Hoboken), then the Meadowlands train to the stadium; or Coach USA’s 351 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Drive times are OSRM’s on empty roads, the same best-case figure as the map’s suburban lens; game nights run far slower. The taxi figure is the TLC yellow-cab meter rate ($3.00 plus $3.50/mi plus $1.50 in surcharges, as of 2026-10) on that distance, the only published benchmark; rideshare prices aren’t published and surge after events. A taxi trip that starts, ends or passes through Manhattan below 96th Street adds $2.50, and $0.75 more below 60th Street; rush hour, overnight, tolls and tip are extra. OMNY caps subway and local bus fares at $35 for any 7 days.
